Sunny’s Sunday Brunch Series 3:Waiting for Time

BY SUNNY LIN FEBRUARY 26 , 2018

Waiting for Time is a brunch restaurant located in Taitung City close to the Taitung Bus Station. The meals they serve are very diverse.

“I ordered a pork focaccia and a cup of milk tea,” said Amy, a grade 11 student who studies in Taitung. “I love the taste of the special bread, focaccia, with the pork.”

The restaurant is usually full of customers, music, and conversations.

“The taste of the bread, polo, is really special,” said Doris, also a high school student who went to have brunch with her friends. "They use the the polo bread as the hamburger bun."

Waiting for Time is an open store just beside the street. It is decorated to look just like an old train station; the front gate looks just like the ticket window in the train station.

The meals there are really diverse. They serve many kinds of bread, from toast, to polo, to focaccia, to croissant, to soft baguette, as well as many kinds of tea, milk and coffee. Especially their milk tea is well-reviewed on the internet.

The sandwiches and burgers cost between 60 and 100 dollars.

Address: No. 408, Zhongshan Rd., Taitung City, Taitung County 950, Taiwan (R.O.C.)
