Swing Music Festival 2018

The Swing Music Festival culminated last Sunday, Nov. 4, with a jazz concert at Junyi High School. Almost 350 people attended the event.
“Jazz is always honest to the world, and to everybody,” said Mr.Wei, one of the musicians from the jazz band.
The music was well received by the audience.
“This jazz concert was the best concert I have ever listened to,” said Mr. Lin, an audience member who attended the event. “After the concert, I think I understand Jazz even more.”
The Swing Music Festival held concerts all over the eastern part of Taiwan, except Yilan, and the whole series of concerts was free for everyone. The main purpose of the festival was to promote Jazz music to local people.
The festival organization said the most important idea was to let people connect through music and feel the power of jazz.
The festival will be held again in 2018.
“We are looking forward to next year,” said a spokesperson for the organization.
